If your horn does not sound when the alarm is activated, make the Active Horn mod without contact .
Note that once we get out of the vehicle, the alarm is activated after a few seconds, so if we want to test it we would have to wait about 30 seconds and then open the door from the inside (with the window open, for example).
We close the car while inside, and after about 30 seconds open the door and the alarm goes off, which goes off either by giving the contact or with the remote control giving it to open.
If we open the door using the sprat on the lock, we have 30 seconds to make contact before it starts to ring. Take this into account when you change the battery on the remote and you are reprogramming it in the lock.

Up to MY16 in extended coding, in Byte 12 we will see that bit 6 is activated.

From MY17 that bit goes to Adaptation with the function Schliesszylinder in Richtung Oeffnen aktiv (Thatcham inaktiv) That

If we deactivate it, this function will stop working, that is, we can open from the cylinder without activating the alarm, keeping the rest of the functionalities operational.
Advantages: If you run out of battery, if you carry a key without reserve buttons and open from the cylinder. (When I go to the beach, I take the reserve one with me)
Disadvantages: If they force the lock, they burst the cylinder and activate the opening from the cylinder cables, simulating the key opening, the alarm will not go off.
Another peculiarity:
With the traditional mod, when opening from the bowler, it only opens the driver's door.
With bit 6 deactivated, when opening from the cylinder, it opens all the doors.

 Pseudo Coming Home and Leaving Home without a light or rain sensor

A very simple way to have a pseudo Home / Leaving Home activated in our vehicle
is to apply the on condition of the roof lighting console to the lights that we want
to come on when opening or closing the car, taking advantage of the courtesy ignition when open the car and the
timing of it when closing it.
For this, we will simply have to enter module 09 - Adaptation.
We choose the light that we want to act as Homing and we look for a free channel.
For example:
We want the right fog light to turn on:
- Leuchte13NL RB5 and we search for a free channel.
- In this case the C13 and we change the value of Nicht Aktiv to Innenlicht (Inner light)
Now we are going to activate the intensity we want in the chosen channel:
- Dimmwert CD 13: and change the value to the one we like the most depending on what we want it to light.
We repeat the process with all those lights that we want to activate.
It is possible that with the daytime LEDs it fails and does not work. Matter of testing.

RETROFITS - REAR MOUNTING

Install light sensor. Thanks to POL All models
For this retrofit you will have to follow the steps described in the corresponding DIY.

Once the corresponding switch and sensor with reference 5Q0 955 547 have been installed, the programming is as follows:

1 - Module 09

2 - Coding (Byte mode )

3 - Byte 6 - (Activate Bit 2)

4 - Byte 7 - (Activate Bits 5 and 7)

Install OEM rear camera All models

Necessary elements: OEM NTSC camera , connectors for the Quadlock.

Install the camera by connecting the original ceiling cables to the new ceiling light cables.
Power the chamber directly from the lighter. (Consult brico)
Connect the signal cables to the Quadlock (Blue Connector) Where PIN 6 is positive and PIN 12 is the video ground.
